Rental Rates

At Lacewing Creative Retreat you can rent a bedroom or the whole house, allowing you flexible options for you and your crafty friends. If the entire house is rented by a single group the organizer stays for free. 13 ladies stay for the price of 12!

Reservations include a Thursday 11:00 am check-in and a Sunday 2:00 pm check-out. You can add a Wednesday and/or Sunday stay for an additional charge.

A pre-packaged continental breakfast and snacks are included with your stay. We offer catering for an additional charge. See below and the catering page for more information.

Rates quoted indicate booking a given room, or the whole house, for the entire 4 day/3 night weekend.

  • The Hummingbird Room:  Sleeps 4 guests, room price is $640 + 13% hotel occupancy tax (total $723.20)
  • The Dragonfly Room:  Sleeps 3 guests, room price is $480 + 13% hotel occupancy tax (total $542.40)
  • The Butterfly Room:  Sleeps 3 guests, room price is $480 + 13% hotel occupancy tax (total $542.40)
  • The Rose Room:  Sleeps 3 guests, room price is $480 + 13% hotel occupancy tax (total $542.40)
  • The Whole House:  Sleeps 13 guests. Price is $1,920 (That’s a savings of $160) + 13% hotel occupancy tax (total $2169.60)
  • Add catering for four meals at $70 per person. Set up and clean-up are included. Let someone else cook and clean. Refer to the catering page for more information. Add an extra lunch or brunch for $15 per person and/or extra dinner for $20 per person.
  • Add a one hour in-house massage ($70) to your getaway to make it even more relaxing and rewarding.
  • Add a Wednesday and/or Sunday stay, check-in at 11am, for $40 per person per day + 13% hotel occupancy tax. ($45.20 total per person per day)
  • Free of charge we can arrange tours, museum visits, and/or special events for your group. Tours include The Historic Tours of Jefferson, The House of the Seasons Historic Home and Garden Tour, and The Jefferson Ghost Walk. Museums include The Gone with the Wind Museum, The Jefferson Historical Museum and The Museum of Measurement and Time.
  • Frequent Crafter Discount: For every 6 visits to Lacewing, you will receive $100 off your room reservation on your 7th visit. Must be used within one year of your sixth visit.

Payments

A security deposit in the amount of half your total base reservation rate is due at booking. The remainder is due 30 days prior to the day of arrival.

Payments for rooms, or the whole house, will be accepted from only one single account. We will not accept payments from multiple guests of a room or the whole house. Sorry, but it is just too complicated to track and ensure that all payments are made on time.

Payments for catering and/or extra day stays must be made up-front, 30 days prior to the date of arrival along with the remainder of your reservation payment. Massages will be paid directly to the massage therapist on the day of your scheduled massage. Please note that catering requires a minimum of four sign-ups and massages require a minimum of two sign-ups.

All payments are accepted by either credit card, check, or PayPal.

Cancellations

We understand that life happens and sometimes requires a need for you to change your retreat plans.

If you need to change your date, we will do our best to accommodate your request but are not under any obligation to accommodate a date change request.  Any changes are made at our discretion.  You must contact us prior to your 30-day final payment date.

If you choose to cancel and not reschedule prior to 30-days of arrival, you will forfeit your security deposit. If you cancel within 30-days of your arrival date, you will be responsible for the full amount due.  We will attempt to fill your rental dates.  If we are able to fill your reservation, you will not be responsible for any further balances due and we will refund all payments, less the security deposit.  If we are unable to fill your rental, you remain responsible for making full payment on your reservations.

We can’t cancel individual beds within a room. You may cancel an individual room(s) from a whole house rental prior to 30-days of your arrival date, however you will still forfeit your security deposit for that individual room(s).

Cancellation of massages and/or catering made 14 days prior to the date of arrival will be refunded. After the 14-day mark massages and/or catering are non-refundable.

General Policies and House Rules

  • Guests must be female and 18 years of age or older.  Young ladies 16 or 17 years of age may be permitted by special request and approved by the owner, but only if accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
  • Sorry, but your fur babies will have to stay home. No pets allowed.
  • Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the house or within 10 feet of all entrances. If you smoke outside on the one acre property please dispose of cigarettes in the designated containers.
  • For safety reasons, no candles or other open flames are allowed inside or anywhere on the property.
  • Lacewing Creative Retreat is not liable for any loss, damages or claims for any reason for any events outside our control, such as loss of power, utilities, cable or internet issues, personal injury, etc.
